Ars Choralis Spotlights Youth

Voices of Tomorrow

Recognizing the importance of encouraging young musicians, Ars Choralis has established Voices of Tomorrow, a program spotlighting talented young singers.

Students chosen for Voices of Tomorrow are featured soloists on Ars Choralis concerts .

Katelyn Noecker is a senior at Saugerties High School. She was a member of the Hudson Valley Youth Chorale for seven years, has studied piano with Barbara Pickhardt for ten years and is currently studying voice with Jill Leasure. A member of both band and chorus at Saugerties High School, Katelyn is grateful for the guidance she received from music educators Marisa Trees and Jerry Hoch. Katelyn was honored to be selected for the Women’s Chorus in the All-State Festival sponsored by the New York State School Music Association this past December. She plans to study music education in college and is currently auditioning at various schools. She would like to thank Barbara Pickhardt and the members of Ars Choralis for their encouragement and inspiration.
